Spooner and Rice Lake on popular Birch Lake.

The
retreat is centrally located between towns of Spooner and Rice
Lake, WI, two of Wisconsin's more popular vacationing destinations.
- Directions
from Twin Cities...
Take Hwy 35N to Forest Lake, then head
East on Hwy 8 to Taylors Falls/ St. Croix Falls. Continue east on Hwy 8
approximately 25 miles. In Turtle Lake, turn north (left) onto Hwy 63.
In Cumberland, follow Hwy. 48 east – no turn involved. Follow 48 to Rice
Lake, then take Hwy. 53 north. Turn right onto County V. At stop sign,
turn left onto Hwy. 48. In Birchwood, turn left onto County Rd. D (by
Grumpy’s). Follow D about two miles, then turn right onto County Rd. DD.
Take the first right turn into the shared driveway that runs right by
the Fernwood Bar. The Birchwood is W399 County Rd. DD.
- Directions from Southern Wisconsin...
Take I-94 west. At Eau Claire, take
Hwy. 53 north approximately 60 miles. After Rice Lake, turn right onto
County V. At stop sign, turn left onto Hwy. 48. In Birchwood, turn left
onto County Rd. D (by Grumpy’s). Follow D about two miles, then turn
right onto County Rd. DD. Take the first right turn into the shared
driveway that runs right by the Fernwood Bar. The Birchwood is W399
County Rd. DD.

The retreat is ideally located--close to all the
Siren/Webster/Danbury area has to offer: golfing, shopping, movie
theater, snowmobiling, ATV trails, hiking, biking, casinos,

trail, and numerous restaurants.
- Directions
from Twin Cities
Take Hwy 35N of Forest Lake to Grantsburg exit (Hwy. 70). Head East on
Hwy 70 to Siren (approximately 1/2 hour). In Siren, turn left at stop
light onto State Hwy. 35. Take 35 North to Webster.
Approximately 2 miles north of town, head west (left) onto Cty. Rd. U.
Follow U for 2 miles and you'll see large sign for Yellow Lake Lodge.
Immediately after this sign, turn left onto North Lake Dr. At stop sign,
turn and shared driveway in on your immediate left. Cutting Edge
Cottage is 8407
Park Street; Classic Cottage is 8409 Park Street.
- Directions from Osceola
State Rd. 35N to Webster. Approximately 2 miles north of town, head
West (left) onto Cty. Rd. U. Follow U for 2 miles and you'll see a
large sign for Yellow Lake Lodge. Immediately after this sign, turn
left onto North Lake Dr. At stop sign, turn right and shared driveway
is on your immediate left. Cutting Edge Cottage is 8407 Park Street;
Classic Cottage is
8409 Park Street.

Take Hwy 35N to Forest Lake, then head
East on Hwy 8 to Ladysmith. Continue east on Hwy 8/US 63
approximately 80 miles. Turn left (north) onto State Road 27 for another
27 miles and then right (west) onto State Road 70.
- Directions from Southern Wisconsin...
Take I-94 west. At Black River Falls, take
Hwy. 27 north approximately 70 miles. After Ladysmith, turn right (west)
onto State Road 70.
